Rescue workers showcased the aftermath of a Russian airstrike last night in one of the districts of Kyiv. Debris from the enemy target caused a fire, resulting in one person injured, reports the State Emergency Service (SES).
Emergency services clarified that the incident occurred in the Solomianskyi district of the capital and confirmed that the fire had been extinguished.
"Kyiv: one person injured as a result of the nighttime shelling. A fire occurred in the Solomianskyi district. The fire has been extinguished," the State Emergency Service reported.
Additionally, rescuers noted that the man sustained facial burns and did not require hospitalization after receiving medical assistance.
The SES also released footage showing the aftermath of the enemy airstrike in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv.

Night Shahed attack on Kyiv
Around 12:30 AM Kyiv time, against the backdrop of a Russian airstrike on Ukraine using kamikaze drones, an air raid alert was also issued in Kyiv, and a series of explosions were heard as air defense systems operated in the city.
By morning, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that air defenders had shot down all enemy strike drones threatening the capital, specifically around ten Shahed drones.
Additionally, city authorities clarified the consequences of the enemy airstrike on Kyiv that night.
