SpaceX launched new communication satellite into orbit
SpaceX has successfully launched the Indonesian satellite Merah Putih 2 into orbit, according to SpaceX's Twitter page.
The Falcon 9 rocket was launched from the 40th launch pad at the U.S. Space Force base in Florida at 22:11 Kyiv time. Approximately 34 minutes later, the satellite was successfully placed into a geostationary orbit.
The satellite is designed to provide signal transmission over Indonesia, India, and areas of South and Southeast Asia adjacent to them. It is expected to have a lifespan of 15 years.

Satellite Merah Putih 2
Merah Putih 2 is the second communication satellite built for PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia (Telkomsat), the Indonesian satellite operator.
The satellite is named after Indonesia's national flag, which features the colors red and white.

SpaceX launched a rocket with two military satellites for Germany at the end of last year.
