South Korea announces new launch of ballistic missile by North Korea
According to South Korean military sources, North Korea conducted a ballistic missile launch towards the east, reports South Korean news agency Yonhap.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea stated they detected a missile launch from North Korea. However, the military did not provide additional details about the launch that occurred late on Sunday.
The South Korean military department noted that data analysis is ongoing.
This marks the second instance of missile launches by North Korea within a week.

The latest launch occurred on Wednesday, with North Korean military launching a ballistic missile towards the East Sea.
Additionally, Pyongyang claimed a successful test of a multiple-warhead missile, but Seoul refuted these claims from North Korea. South Korea indicated that the launch ended in failure as the missile exploded in the air.
