Smoke stretched for 12 km: New satellite images show massive fire at Feodosia oil depot

A fire continues to burn at the oil terminal in the port of Feodosia, in temporarily occupied Crimea, following a drone strike overnight on October 6, Radio Liberty reports.
Satellite images from October 6 show smoke from the burning oil depot stretching for 12 kilometers. Notably, the same oil terminal was previously targeted in October 2024.
It is the largest facility of its kind in Crimea, with an annual capacity of 12 million tons of oil products and storage tanks holding up to 250,000 tons at once.
Strikes on the Feodosia terminal
On the night of October 6, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the facilities of the Marine Oil Terminal in the temporarily occupied Feodosia, Crimea.
According to the General Staff, the complex serves as a hub for transferring oil and petroleum products between railway tank cars, sea vessels, and road transport, and was used to supply the Russian army. A massive fire broke out at the terminal following the strike.
