Slovenia joins G7 declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine
Slovenia has joined the declaration of the G7 countries in support of security guarantees for Ukraine, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Grateful to the government of Slovenia and Prime Minister Robert Golob personally for joining the G7 declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine," he wrote.
The President emphasized that Ukraine and Slovenia share common values of freedom and democracy and a commitment to peace and justice for the entire Euro-Atlantic community.
Security guarantees for Ukraine
During the NATO summit, the leaders of the G7 countries agreed on a declaration regarding security guarantees for Ukraine. This declaration involves long-term support in the realm of security and the economy.
Zelenskyy noted that bilateral agreements with partners would expand the new security guarantees outlined in the declaration. Any country can join in supporting Ukraine.
Over 25 countries have already supported the declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine.
