Slovakia’s PM doesn’t represent Europe in China - EU Commission

The European Commission has responded to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico's visit to China. Brussels has stated that it does not represent the European Union in Beijing, according to The Guardian.
During a daily briefing by representatives of the European Commission, journalists asked whether Fico could speak on behalf of the EU. The spokesperson replied briefly: "No."
When asked to clarify the Slovak prime minister's statements, in particular his comments to Russian President Vladimir Putin and others, the EC said "No comment on comments."
Meeting between Putin and Fico in China
Today, September 2, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico held talks with Russia's Vladimir Putin in China, where Putin is on a four-day visit.
During the meeting with the Kremlin leader, Fico said that Bratislava is reacting very harshly to Ukrainian attacks on the Druzhba oil pipeline.
He claims that he will raise this issue at a future meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday in Uzhhorod.
Fico is the only EU leader present in Beijing.
