Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár wants to believe that the drones which fell in Poland were meant to end up in Ukraine, Blanár said as cited by TASR.

"We express our absolute solidarity and at the same time we support the consultations that Poland has launched under NATO Article Four," Blanár said.

He also called for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. According to him, the conflict between the two countries has no military solution, only a diplomatic one.

"I want to believe that the drones that penetrated Polish territory were drones that went there not to attack Poland but were supposed to end up on Ukrainian territory," the minister cynically stated.

In turn, Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok, in the context of the attack on Poland, recalled a case when there was information about a Russian missile falling on Polish territory, but later it turned out that it was allegedly a Ukrainian missile.

For his part, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has already demanded to find out "who was operating drones" that entered Poland.

Drone attack on Poland

On the night of September 10, Russian drones violated Polish airspace.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that in total there were 19 drones, most of which flew from the territory of Belarus.

The Polish Ministry of the Interior stated that fragments of Russian drones were found in 11 settlements.
