Six earthquakes recorded in occupied Crimea in single day

A series of earthquakes was recorded in the Crimea area on June 22. Throughout the day, seismologists registered six tremors in the Black Sea and near the peninsula's coastline, according to data from the Main Center for Special Monitoring.
Less than 20 minutes later, at 05:27 a.m., another tremor with a magnitude of 3.3 was recorded. Its epicenter was located 13 kilometers from the coastline at a depth of 16 kilometers.
The third earthquake struck at 06:14 a.m. It reached a magnitude of 3.8, with its epicenter located 7 kilometers off the coast of Crimea at a depth of 25 kilometers.
The strongest earthquakes occurred later in the day. At 08:48 a.m., a magnitude 4.2 tremor was recorded off the coast of Crimea at a depth of 10 kilometers. According to specialists, it was classified as a strongly felt earthquake.
An even more powerful earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.5, struck at 02:07 p.m. Its epicenter was also located near the Crimean coast at a depth of 10 kilometers. This tremor was likewise categorized as strongly felt.
All of the recorded earthquakes occurred in the area of Crimea's coastline and the Black Sea waters. No information about possible damage or other consequences has been reported so far.
On May 31, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 was also recorded in the Black Sea near the coast of Crimea. Its epicenter was located 15 kilometers off the peninsula's coast at a depth of 10 kilometers.
