Shelling of Zaporizhzhia: US Ambassador reacts to Russian strikes

The diplomat reacted to the missile strikes by Russian forces on Zaporizhzhia, which according to the latest data resulted in the death of four people and over twenty injured.
"Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia today, killing 3 people with missile strikes timed 40 minutes apart - a horrific pattern apparently intended to kill first responders & journalists on the scene," Brink wrote in her post on Twitter (X).
The ambassador also emphasized that Russia must be held accountable for such crimes against the civilian population of Ukraine.

Earlier today, it was reported that there was an explosion in Zaporizhzhia around three o'clock in the afternoon during an air raid alert. The Russian invaders reportedly used ballistic weaponry for the shelling. After some time, two more explosions were heard in the city.
As a result of the enemy shelling in Zaporizhzhia, four people were killed, and over 20 citizens were injured.
Following this, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko addressed civilians and emphasized the importance of adhering to safety rules during air raid alerts. The official, after today's strikes on Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv, where there were also explosions due to enemy attacks, stated that Russian forces are employing a tactic of double strikes on Ukrainian cities to inflict more casualties, as emergency services arrive at the scenes of strikes to assist the injured.
