Shelling of Kharkiv: Russian rocket hits a school
Russian occupying forces shelled the city of Kharkiv on the evening of January 2. A rocket hit a school building in the Osnovyanskyi district, according to the Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.

The Regional Military Administration confirmed that a school in Kharkiv came under shelling.
"At 22:40 and 22:42, the Russian occupiers shelled the city of Kharkiv, presumably with S-300 missiles. The building of a school in the Osnovyanskyi district was partially destroyed. No casualties reported," wrote Syniehubov.
Photos of the aftermath of the Russian rocket strike have been published.
Prosecutors noted that as a result of the attack, the school was partially destroyed, and the buildings of the kindergarten were damaged. Windows are shattered in residential buildings.
Previously, Suspilne media reported that as a result of a Russian attack, a missile hit one of the schools in the Osnoviansky district of Kharkiv. Part of the two-story building collapsed.
It is claimed that a crater with a diameter of about ten meters formed at the site of the explosion, filled with water. Rescuers suggest that the rocket strike damaged an underground water pipeline.
Also, at least three private houses nearby had their windows shattered.
Shelling of Kharkiv
On the evening of January 2, powerful explosions were reported in Kharkiv. The Russian Federation once again attacked the city, causing damage to civilian infrastructure.
The mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, also reported a hit near a residential building. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration mentioned that, according to preliminary data, occupiers targeted Kharkiv with S-300 missiles.
