Shelling of Dnipro: Number of casualties rises to 12, including pregnant woman
The number of casualties from the Russian rocket attack on a nine-story building in Dnipro has risen to 12 people. Among them is a pregnant woman, according to the Telegram channel of Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
"Already 12 casualties in Dnipro. Six are in the hospital. Among them is a pregnant woman," Lysak reported.
He added that the condition of the injured woman is assessed as moderate severity. She is receiving all necessary medical assistance.
Rocket strike on Dnipro
Today, June 28, Russian forces launched a rocket strike on a multi-story building in Dnipro.
Russia destroyed four floors of the building with its strike. As a result of the attack, one person was killed. Earlier reports indicated 9 casualties, including a 7-month-old baby. Two people remain unaccounted for.
At the same time, according to Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, there may be more casualties.
Additionally, part of the building damaged by the rocket strike has collapsed.
