In Dnipro, number of casualties increased to 9, part of building collapsed
The number of casualties from a Russian missile attack on a nine-story building in Dnipro has risen to 9. Part of the damaged building collapsed, according to the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
"Unfortunately, the number of casualties has increased. There are already 9. Preliminary reports indicate that two people are not in contact. The search and rescue operation continues," Lysak reported.
Meanwhile, local Telegram channels report that part of the building damaged by the missile strike has collapsed. The entire city district is covered in dust and smoke.
Missile strike on Dnipro
Russian forces launched a missile strike on a multi-story building in Dnipro this evening, June 28.
The Russians destroyed four floors of the building with their strike, killing one person. Earlier, it was reported that six people were wounded, including a 7-month-old baby.
However, as reported by Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, the number of casualties may be higher.
