Shelling of Dniester Hydroelectric Power Station: Details and damage reported
Russian troops attempted to attack the Dniester Hydroelectric Power Station with missiles overnight, but they were intercepted en route to the target, according to the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Zaparaniuk
"During the morning attack, the enemy attempted to target the Dniester Hydroelectric Power Station. Air defense forces intercepted the missiles near this important facility," the head of the region's administration stated.
According to him, debris from two missiles has already been found.

The blast wave damaged the administrative building as well as the water pipeline in the village of Ozheve in the Dniester district, where debris fell. However, the water supply is currently functioning normally.
"Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Law enforcement officers are currently conducting investigative actions. Inspection teams have been formed, and a special commission is assessing the incurred damages," added the head of the region.
Russia attempted to strike two hydroelectric power stations in Ukraine overnight
On the night of March 29, Russian forces launched 60 kamikaze drones and 39 missiles of various types towards Ukraine. The anti-aircraft defense managed to destroy 56 drones and 29 missiles.
The main strike of the enemy was aimed at energy facilities. It is known that Russian forces attacked three thermal power stations in Ukraine, resulting in significant damage to equipment.
Critical infrastructure objects in the Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions were also targeted in the attacks.
Later, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the targets of Russia's attack that night were the Kaniv and Dniester Hydroelectric Power Stations.
