As a result of a Russian Shahed drone attack on Kryvyi Rih, civilians were injured. The target was a civilian infrastructure facility, according to the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

"A civilian infrastructure facility was hit. Preliminary reports indicate two people injured," Vilkul wrote.

He noted that utility and emergency services were working at the site of the attack.

A support center for affected residents is being set up at the nearest school to the strike site. Building materials will be distributed there, and applications for financial assistance from the city will be accepted.

Lysak added that a fire broke out as a result of the strike on civilian infrastructure.

Vilkul later clarified that three people are now confirmed injured.

"One is in serious condition in the operating room. Two others are in moderate condition. Doctors are providing all necessary care," he said.

Strike on Kryvyi Rih

On the evening of July 4, Russian forces launched a Shahed drone attack on Kryvyi Rih. Explosions were heard in the city.

This was not the first attack on Kryvyi Rih today. A powerful explosion was reported in the morning as well.

In a comment to RBC-Ukraine, Territorial Defense Forces serviceman and military expert Oleksandr Musiienko suggested that Russia may have used the Grom-1 missile system in the morning strike.
