Shahed attack on Odesa: Number of victims sharply increased
According to updated information, there is one dead and one wounded as a result of the Russian attack on Odesa by Shahed drones, reports the head of the Odesa military administration Oleh Kiper.
Oleh Kiper reports one dead and three hospitalized citizens as a result of a Russian drone attack.
"As a result of the Russian attack, 9 people were injured. One of them died, and three were hospitalized. All others received medical assistance on the spot," Kiper wrote.
Russian drone attack on Odesa on January 1
On the night of January 1, Russian troops attacked Ukraine using Shahed-type kamikaze drones. The drones were launched from the south, and explosions were heard in several regions of the country, including Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, and the Dnipro region.
Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said that Russians attacked Odesa with strike drones on the night of January 1. Fires broke out in residential buildings as a result of drone debris falling.
Later, Kiper said that in addition to fragmentation, there were direct hits.
