Air alert was declared throughout Ukraine on December 31. This is already the second large-scale air alert in Ukraine for the day, according to the air alert map and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Initially, an air alert was declared in Kyiv. Within minutes, sirens wailed in all regions of Ukraine.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warn that there is a threat of missile strikes throughout Ukraine. The takeoff of several Russian MiG-31K aircraft from the Mozdok airfield has been detected. Ukrainians are urged not to ignore the sirens.

Explosions

Explosions were reported in Kropyvnytskyi and Kryvyi Rih. Local Telegram channels provided this information. The Air Force had warned about the missile's movement towards Kropyvnytskyi.

Later, repeated explosions were heard both in Kropyvnytskyi and Kryvyi Rih.

Missile launches

The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a missile launch of the Kinzhal was preliminarily detected from a MiG-31K aircraft.

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that missile launches from the air had been detected.

Second alert of the day

The first large-scale air alert was declared in Ukraine today at around 10:40. Takeoffs of Russian MiG-31K aircraft from the Savaslaka and Mozdok airfields were recorded.

The alert lasted for over an hour. Fortunately, there was no information about explosions or shellings.
