Search efforts in Kyiv after Russia's strike are complete: What is known so far

Search and rescue operations in Kyiv's Desnianskyi district have been completed following the Russian attack in the early hours of Friday, November 14, according to the State Emergency Service.
In the Desnianskyi district of the capital, rescuers finished search and rescue work in the apartment building damaged by the Russian strike. Updated data shows that six people were killed. Five were injured, including one child.
Units of the State Emergency Service rescued 17 residents of the building, including one child. In addition, psychologists provided assistance to 252 affected individuals and their relatives.
Rescuers also dismantled and removed 262 tons of destroyed structures and debris.








Shelling in the night of November 14
In the night of November 14, Russian forces carried out a large-scale attack, launching 19 missiles and 430 strike drones across Ukraine. The assault involved Kh-47 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles and Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles.
The main strike targeted Kyiv, where numerous impacts were recorded on residential buildings. In the Dniprovskyi district, a drone hit a five-story building, triggering a large fire and trapping residents whom rescuers had to evacuate urgently.
Damage was also recorded in apartment buildings in the Podilskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Desnianskyi, Solomianskyi, and Obolonskyi districts, as well as at a school in the Darnytskyi district and a hospital in Holosiivskyi.
According to preliminary data, six civilians were killed and another 35 people were injured.
Meanwhile, Russia's Ministry of Defense traditionally claimed it had allegedly targeted military-industrial and energy facilities.
