Germany's support for Ukraine

Germany is a key partner of Ukraine, providing military, humanitarian, and financial assistance during the full-scale war. Since the beginning of Russia’s aggression, Germany has delivered modern weaponry to Ukraine, including Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery systems, IRIS-T air defense systems, Leopard 2 tanks, Marder infantry fighting vehicles, and other equipment.

In addition to military aid, Germany funds humanitarian projects to restore critical infrastructure and support Ukrainians forced to leave their homes.

Today, Scholz arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit. This is his second visit to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion. During his visit, he announced a new military aid package for Ukraine.
