Satellite images show massive fire at gas station in Sudzha

Satellite images of a fire at the gas metering station Sudzha in the Kursk region have surfaced online. The station was attacked by Russian forces the day before, Crimea. Realities informs.
The fire at the Sudzha station began on the evening of March 20. The Russians claimed that the Defense Forces allegedly shelled the gas metering station.
However, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dismissed the accusations made by the Russian invaders. The Ukrainian military emphasized that the Russians themselves struck the gas metering station Sudzha with artillery, and this was not the first attack. Last summer, the station was hit by guided bombs, and this week, the Russians again targeted it with KABs.
It is also known that earlier, Russian troops used the pipe of the main gas pipeline for covert troop movements.
It is worth noting that the gas metering station Sudzha in the Kursk region was used for the transit of Russian gas to Europe. Since January 1, 2025, Ukraine officially halted the transit of gas from Russia to Europe and Moldova.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces took control of the gas metering station in Sudzha in the summer of 2024 after the start of the Kursk operation.
As reported, a large-scale fire broke out at the station late in the evening on March 20. The flames were visible in Kursk, Belgorod, and along the border with the Sumy region.
