Satellite images have emerged showing Russian aviation losses from drone strikes carried out by the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR), according to military analyst AviVector.

The photos show airfields in temporarily occupied Kacha and near Sevastopol, where an An-26 transport plane was destroyed and Be-12 amphibious aircraft were damaged.

"The airbase housed 5 Be-12 (Mail), 1 An-26 (Curl), 3 MiG-29K (Fulcrum-D), 4 Mi-8 (Hip) and 4 Ka-27/29 (Helix)," he wrote.

The analyst noted that over the past week, HUR reported destroying two Be-12 planes, two An-26 planes, and four Mi-8 helicopters in Crimea. Photo analysis confirmed the complete destruction of one An-26 (RF-46878). The second An-26 could not be identified.

Damage was also recorded to two Be-12 aircraft, which were removed from the base after the strikes. A crater from the explosion is visible at the site. The Mi-8AMTSh helicopter in Kacha survived, but near Simferopol, the analyst identified one destroyed Mi-8 and another heavily damaged one.

On September 25, Ukrainian special forces conducted another successful operation in temporarily occupied Crimea, destroying two An-26 transport planes and several radar stations.

Earlier, HUR operators, known as Prymary, destroyed two Russian Be-12 Chaika amphibious planes at Kacha airfield in Crimea for the first time in history. A Russian Mi-8 helicopter was also damaged during the operation.
