Satellite images reveal aftermath of drone strike on Tula plant's fuel storage
Drones damaged fuel and lubricant storage tanks at the March 8 plant in the Tula region, Russia. Earlier, the Defense Intelligence (GUR) confirmed a successful attack on an oil depot, Radio Svoboda reports.
The photos published on January 21 show that at least one fuel and lubricant storage tank at the plant was damaged as a result of the strike.
Earlier, the governor of the Tula region stated that during the attack on the night of January 18, a fuel and lubricant storage tank at one of the region's enterprises caught fire.
Drone attacks on Russian oil depots
Recently, there has been a constant series of drone attacks on military sites and oil refineries in the Russian Federation. In particular, on the evening of January 17, drones attacked an oil depot in the Kaluga region, targeting an industrial facility in the city of Lyudinovo.
On January 18, drones from the Defense Intelligence (GUR) attacked an oil depot in the Tula region. According to sources in the Ministry of Defense's GUR, the enemy target was hit thanks to the efforts of the operators from the Defense Intelligence and drones of Ukrainian production.
