The Ukrainian military is working to neutralize the threat posed by Starlink satellite communication terminals used by Russian invaders at the front, according to Andrii Yusov, representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

"Indeed, Russia continues to work through so-called parallel imports, in fact, smuggling. And yes, through third countries. We will not name specific countries, and this information needs to be clarified, but Starlink is freely available in Russia on open online platforms," he says.

According to Yusov, compared to last year, the use of Starlink in the Russian army on the front line has become more systematic and well-established.

"That is, the occupiers are betting on these devices, devices. So, of course, we are working to neutralize this threat. We will not disclose these details now," he says.

He adds that no one claims that Starlink is officially being sold to the Russians.

"But today Russia is not only the No. 1 terrorist state, but also the No. 1 smuggler state. So, yes, this is a problem that is being worked on today," the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine representative says.

Russians have Starlink

The other day, the media reported that Russians at the frontline began using Starlink satellite communication terminals. Ukrainian troops first detected Russia's use of satellite communications on the front lines several months ago.

In a commentary to RBC-Ukraine, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Andrii Yusov, confirmed that cases of Russians using Starlink terminals were indeed recorded at the front. According to him, this is beginning to become systematic.

In addition, the DIU published a radio interception of a conversation between the Russian occupiers. They were talking about the use of Starlink terminals at the front.
