Russians shelled Chernihiv (Vitalii Nosach, RBC-Ukraine)
Russian military used an Iskander missile in today's strike on Chernihiv, according to the Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus.
As a result of the enemy rocket strike with an Iskander missile, there are 7 fatalities, and 128 individuals sought medical assistance. Most cases involve outpatient care, after which people returned home," reported the Head of the Regional Military Administration.

On August 19, during an air raid alert in Chernihiv, powerful explosions were heard. Later, authorities confirmed that the occupiers, likely using ballistic missiles, had struck the city center. Many people were present at the time of the attack.
The attack caused damage to the drama theater, the square, the courthouse, the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, shops, and other public facilities.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, upon arriving at the scene, announced that law enforcement had cordoned off the courtyard in the center of Chernihiv where the Russian missile had landed. Currently, the city is documenting the military crime of the Russian Federation.
