Russians shell Kherson at night, August 5, injuries reported
Russian forces shelled the city of Kherson with artillery during the night of August 5. Two individuals were injured in the attack, according to the reports by the Kherson Military Administration's Telegram channel.
"Last night, the districts of Korabelnyi and Suvorovskyi in Kherson were targeted in the attack. As a result of the artillery shelling, two people were injured," the report said.
According to the head of the Kherson region, Oleksandr Prokudin, Russian forces have carried out 52 attacks on the Kherson region in the past 24 hours, employing mortars, artillery, tanks, aircraft, and drones.
Enemy projectiles hit residential areas, resulting in four residents of the Kherson region injured.
Kherson situation
Following the deoccupation of the right bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region, the Russians have been regularly shelling the region, particularly Kherson, from the opposite bank of the river, mostly using heavy weaponry and aviation.
Just yesterday, on August 4, Russian aviation dropped two guided bombs on the village of Odradokamianka, injuring a 50-year-old man.
