Russians launch 75 drones across Ukraine: Almost all shot down
Russian invaders released 75 Shahed kamikaze drones over Ukraine last night, on November 25. Air defense forces shot down 71 unmanned aerial vehicles, reports the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Drones were launched from two directions: Prymorsko-Akhtarsk and the Kursk region. The main target was Kyiv.
Air defense operated in at least six regions of Ukraine: Kyiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kirovohrad. The defense involved anti-aircraft missile troops, tactical aviation, mobile fire groups, and radio-electronic warfare units.
Military officials emphasize that the majority of drones were shot down in the Kyiv region. Also, a controlled aviation missile Kh-59 was destroyed in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhii Naiev, reported that 55 Shahed drones were shot down in the north of Ukraine. Among them, 28 were landed by mobile fire groups.

According to him, 7 attack drones were destroyed in the Sumy direction, 4 in the Chernihiv direction, and 17 in the Kyiv direction.
It is also known that 5 drones were eliminated in the sky of the Dnipropetrovsk region, 2 in the Kirovohrad region, and one each in the Mykolaiv and Cherkasy regions.
Attack on Kyiv
In Kyiv and the surrounding area, the air raid lasted for more than 6 hours. Falling debris was recorded in several city areas, including Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Dniprovskyi districts.
According to the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, 5 people were injured due to the shelling, including an 11-year-old child. The child has a sharp reaction to stress. Also, 77 buildings and 120 institutions were left without electricity in the central part of Kyiv due to the attack. The reason is the power line outage.
