Russians hit hotel in Kharkiv with missile: 10 casualties, including foreigners
The Russian Federation attacked Kharkiv on the evening of January 10. A missile struck a hotel, resulting in casualties, according to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
"Another act of terrorism against the civilian population. At this moment, there are 10 casualties," the statement reads.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration also noted that among the victims, one person is in critical condition, another has sustained injuries and is in moderate condition, while the others have minor injuries.
Among the wounded are journalists from a Turkish publication who were staying at the hotel. Currently, the aftermath is being dealt with, and firefighters continue to extinguish the fire.
Number of casualties has increased
Later, Syniehubov reported that 11 people were affected as a result of the enemy shelling in the central part of Kharkiv: 4 men aged 31 to 38 and 7 women aged 23 to 71.
"Nine of the affected individuals were taken to medical facilities. A 35-year-old man is in critical condition, 8 patients are in moderate condition, and 2 received assistance on-site," stated the head of the RMA.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, Oleksandr Filchakov, described the consequences of the shelling, noting that one of the missiles directly hit the hotel complex building.

Occupiers launched strikes on Kharkiv on the evening of January 10, and explosions were heard throughout the city.
As reported by Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA), Russian occupiers targeted the Kyiv district of the city, and preliminary information suggests that the enemy used S-300 missiles for the attack.
