Russians build new fortifications in occupied Yevpatoria, Crimea - ATESH partisan movement
Russian troops are establishing new engineering fortifications at both entrances to the city of Yevpatoria in temporarily occupied Crimea, according to the ATESH partisan movement.
The construction of these fortifications may be linked to ongoing territorial defense exercises in Crimea. These actions confirm Russian plans for the continued militarization of the peninsula.
Meanwhile, sources from the ATESH agency within Russian security structures report that active military and counter-terrorism exercises on the peninsula are connected to repeated incidents of missing Russian military personnel and police, as well as the strengthening of partisan movements in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
Situation in Crimea
Since the occupation of Crimea in 2014, Russian military forces have established numerous bases and military facilities on the peninsula.
Recently, Ukrainian partisans conducted reconnaissance of the Black Sea Fleet supply base in Simferopol.
Earlier, ATESH agents detected a Russian Buk-M3 missile system in Sevastopol.
Ukrainian partisans also identified Russian air defense systems guarding northern Crimea.
