Noticeable changes in Russia's military logistics have been recorded in the occupied territories. Russian forces are increasingly transferring cargo and convoys using new camouflage methods, according to Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation.

According to him, the main development over the past week has been the widespread use of fuel tankers and blue-painted trucks to transport ammunition.

While this method of concealment was previously observed mainly in Mariupol, such vehicles are now regularly moving both from Russia’s Rostov region and from occupied Crimea.

Andriushchenko noted that up to 20 units of such cargo transport pass through this route daily.

In addition, Russian forces continue to redeploy military convoys, although they now move in smaller groups. The main direction of movement is from the Berdyansk area toward northern Donetsk region.

According to the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, all such convoys are escorted by fire support units, representatives of the military commandant’s office, and Russia’s National Guard.

Summarizing the observations, Andriushchenko suggested that Russian forces are either gradually regaining confidence in the security of their supply routes or have found new ways to reduce risks during transport operations.

"This is either desperation or a found solution. Time will tell," he said.

Despite increased military transport activity, occupation logistics routes in the Donetsk region remain vulnerable.

Earlier, after a Russian military convoy was hit on the Mariupol–Novoazovsk highway, the occupation authorities were forced to close the road and organize a detour.
