On Wednesday morning, May 14, Russian forces attacked a civilian vehicle in the village of Bilozerka, Kherson region, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reports.

Around 7:00 a.m. local time, the enemy dropped an explosive from a drone, injuring a local resident.

According to preliminary information from the Kherson Regional Military Administration, a 49-year-old man sustained blast injuries and a concussion, along with multiple shrapnel wounds to the face, arms, torso, and thigh.

The victim was hospitalized and is receiving the necessary medical care.

Shelling of Kherson and region

Russian troops regularly use drones to attack civilian infrastructure and transport, especially in the frontline areas of the Kherson region.

Meanwhile, the left-bank part of the Kherson region remains under Russian occupation. The Russian army continues to shell Kherson and other settlements on the right bank of the Dnipro River on a daily basis.

For instance, on April 13, Russian forces shelled the center of Kherson, killing one person and injuring another. A local children's medical facility was also damaged.

In addition, on April 17, Russian forces attacked an ambulance in Kherson, injuring a medic and a driver.

On March 27, the central part of Kherson came under fire - part of the city lost power as a result of the attack. Trolleybus service was suspended. During the massive shelling, two people were killed, and an ambulance crew was also hit.
