Near Toretsk, the Donetsk region, the Russian army attacked a vehicle of paramedics who were evacuating civilians, according to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the agency, police officers arrived at the front line to rescue a woman suffering from a stroke and her husband. At that moment, an enemy shell hit the vehicle cabin, injuring two paramedics. Fortunately, the civilians they were evacuating were unharmed in the explosion.

"There was a flash, a shockwave, a hail of shrapnel. We were lucky that the doors of our armored vehicle didn't jam - otherwise, we would have burned alive," paramedic Ruslan Hubanov recounted.

Situation in the Toretsk direction

Recently, the General Staff reported that Russian forces have significantly increased their activity in the Toretsk direction.

In addition, the Russian Federation has concentrated its forces in the area of Novooleksandrivka, which is in the Pokrovsk direction.
