Russian troops attack Lutsk in Volyn region this morning: Building damaged, one injured

This morning, on August 21, Russian forces attacked Lutsk, in the Volyn region. Due to the enemy strike, one person was injured and buildings were damaged, the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine in the Volyn region reports.
“In Lutsk, during a morning enemy attack, a 48-year-old woman was injured by glass fragments. She was in a store in one of the suburban villages. The victim sustained injuries to her arm, leg, and back and was hospitalized. The building sustained minor damage,” the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine in the Volyn region stated
The injured woman is the mother of a rescuer who was on duty in the regional center that very day.
Massive attack on Ukraine
During the night of August 21, Russian forces carried out another massive attack on Ukrainian territory. Russian troops used Shahed drones, cruise missiles, and Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, this was one of the largest attacks since the start of the war. Air defense forces shot down or suppressed 577 targets, including Kinzhal and Kalibr missiles.
The main strike was targeted at Lviv and the region, using kamikaze drones and missiles. A missile strike was also recorded in Mukachevo, Zakarpattia region, where one missile hit a local enterprise.
