'Russian terrorists will be held accountable': Zelenskyy reacts to Russian drone strikes on Kharkiv
Russian terrorists attacked Kharkiv on April 4 using kamikaze drones. Strengthening Ukraine's air defense capabilities will help save lives, according to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"A strike on Kharkiv, just an ordinary apartment building. With three Shaheds. A despicable and cynical attack, when the rescuers arrived at the scene of the strike, the terrorists attacked again," the head of state writes.
The Russian attack killed three rescuers and a woman. The President expressed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
Zelenskyy emphasizes that strengthening the air defense of our country would save lives and protect Ukrainians.
"Russian terrorists will be held accountable for their actions in Kharkiv and for all acts of aggression against our people. We are working with our partners to strengthen the protection of our cities and villages and to protect our citizens. Strengthening Ukraine's air defense capabilities directly translates into saving lives," the President notes.
