ATESH, a Ukrainian partisan movement, implemented another successful sabotage operation in the rear of the Russian army. This time, agents destroyed an electric locomotive in Russia's Lipetsk region, disrupting the transfer of military cargo toward the Sumy front.
The movement members reported an effective operation on a railway section in the Lipetsk region of Russia. The sabotage destroyed a freight electric locomotive supporting the Russian military.
"Such locomotives are used to transport ammunition, fuel, weapons, and heavy equipment from deep inside the country to active combat zones. Disrupting even one unit significantly complicates the supply of frontline units and slows down the redeployment of reserves," the unit wrote on social media.
The partisan movement added that the disabled locomotive will no longer be able to take part in transporting military trains, meaning another segment of the hostile logistics system has been brought to a halt.

"We consistently weaken the enemy's capabilities and create problems for the Russian Armed Forces. ATESH continues to operate where the enemy feels safe, destroying its military infrastructure from within," partisans added.

Other sabotage operations by ATESH
Earlier, on May 3, the ATESH movement also reported the destruction of a Russian army KamAZ truck in temporarily occupied Luhansk, which was used to supply frontline units. As a result, deliveries to the front line were partially disrupted.
In addition, on April 20, reports emerged that agents disabled a substation in Russia's Voronezh region, undermining the adversary's military supplies to the Kharkiv front.
The media also reported that on April 15, the partisans reported the disruption of communications among Russian troops by destroying a telecom equipment cabinet at a key communication tower in the settlement of Gornyi Shchit (Sverdlovsk region).
