Russian strikes on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia: Rescuers pull another victim's body from rubble

Emergency rescue operations have been completed in Zaporizhzhia following a massive Russian air strike. The death toll has risen to three—two women and one man, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Two young men are also known to have been injured.
"Three people were killed: two women aged 40 and 79, and a 77-year-old man. In addition, two young men aged 20 and 17 suffered injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized," the regional emergency services said.
A Russian aerial bomb destroyed a private residential building and damaged neighboring buildings.
"Firefighters extinguished the fire in a two-story building and five cars," the rescue service added.
All of the city's emergency services worked at the sites where Russian aerial bombs struck.

Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia and other regions on September 22
Russia launched 5 strikes on Zaporizhzhia on the night of September 22. Earlier, two casualties and two injuries were reported.
The Kyiv region also suffered from Russian strikes that night — in the Boryspil district, a man was injured as a result of the Russian attack. Fires broke out in other areas of the region, and vehicles were damaged.
In Sumy, Russian drones hit industrial facilities and an educational institution.
One person was injured and received medical assistance. The victim was a security guard at the enterprise who was hit by one of the Russian drones.
