One man was injured as a result of an enemy attack in the Boryspil district. Fires also broke out in other districts of the region, and vehicles were damaged, according to a statement by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

"As a result of the enemy attack in the Boryspil district, one person was injured. A man born in 1993 sustained a blind shrapnel wound to his shoulder. All necessary medical assistance was provided at the hospital. He does not require hospitalization," the statement said.

The consequences of enemy attacks were recorded in four districts of the Kyiv region:

  • In the Vyshhorod district, a forest floor fire broke out.
  • In the Fastiv district, a fire occurred in a private house.
  • In the Obukhiv district, as a result of an enemy target being shot down, debris fell on an uninhabited multi-story building.
  • In the Boryspil district, a private house caught fire. Vehicles and another private house were also damaged.

"Emergency services are working at the scene. All necessary measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack on peaceful settlements in the region," said Kalashnyk.

Air defense operations in the Kyiv region

As reported by RBC-Ukraine, around 2:00 a.m. in the Kyiv region, air defense systems engaged in shooting down enemy attack drones.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration urged citizens not to take photos or videos of defense operations, the downing of aerial targets, or the locations where debris falls.

Earlier, threats of UAV strikes were reported in the Fastiv, Obukhiv, Bucha, Bila Tserkva, and Vyshhorod districts of the region.
