In Boryspil district, residential buildings caught fire as a result of Russian drone attacks, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

“In Boryspil district, a three-story residential building caught fire. Fires also broke out in two private houses,” the administration reported.

Emergency services are working at the scene.

No information about casualties has been reported, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration said, promising to provide more details later.

“The air raid alert continues. We ask everyone to stay in safe locations,” Kyiv Regional Military Administration emphasized.

Air defense operations in the Kyiv region

Around 2:00 a.m. Kyiv time, air defense systems were reported to be active in the Kyiv region, intercepting hostile attack drones.

“We ask everyone to remain in shelters. Air defense is operating in the region. Under no circumstances should you take photos or videos of our defense forces in action, the interception of aerial targets, or their fall,” Kyiv Regional Military Administration stressed.

Earlier, threats of drone strikes were reported in the Fastiv, Obukhiv, Bucha, Bila Tserkva, and Vyshhorod districts.

Around 2:30 a.m. Kyiv time, the air raid alert was lifted in the Fastiv, Bucha, and Bila Tserkva districts of the Kyiv region.

Shahed attack on Ukraine

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported an air raid alert on the night of September 22 in several regions of Ukraine due to Shahed attack drones launched by Russian forces.

Eastern and southern regions of Ukraine remain under threat.

The previous large-scale Shahed alert in Ukraine occurred on September 19, when Russian drone attacks targeted the eastern, southern, northern, and central regions of the country.
