Russian troops attacked an infrastructure facility in the Odesa region with drones at night, resulting in a fire caused by heavy shelling, according to Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper.

"On the night of December 10, Russia once again launched a massive attack on the region with strike drones. Most of the Russian air targets were destroyed by our air defense forces. However, a hit on an infrastructure facility in one of the districts was recorded," Kiper says.

According to him, the strike caused local damage, followed by a fire in a small area of a warehouse.

"The fire was quickly extinguished. There were no casualties. Critical infrastructure is operating normally," the head of the Regional Military Administration adds.

Russian attacks on Odesa and region

The Odesa region has been under constant Russian attack for a long time, and the last week has been another confirmation of the intensity of these strikes.

On the night of November 27, Russia attacked the Odesa region. The attack damaged two residential buildings, an equestrian club, and a gas station.

On the night of November 25, Russia struck the Odesa region, causing several fires and injuries.

The day before, Russians also carried out a powerful drone attack on the Odesa region. The strikes caused new damage to civilian and energy infrastructure. In some areas, fires broke out at the port and energy infrastructure facilities, resulting in damaged equipment.

Also, on the night of November 23, Russians attacked the Odesa region with drones, in particular, certain areas of Odesa.

The strikes caused fires at energy infrastructure facilities and in one of the former industrial buildings. All fires were extinguished, and there were no casualties.
