Russian strikes hit Odesa region ports and infrastructure

Russian forces carried out strikes on the industrial and port infrastructure of Odesa region on December 26. The attacks caused damage, Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleg Kiper reported.
"Over the past day, the enemy carried out drone-bombing strikes on the industrial and port infrastructure of Odesa region," Kiper said.
He added that, despite most targets being destroyed by air defense forces, the strikes damaged equipment for grain transportation at a local elevator. No casualties or injuries were reported.
A drone also fell on the premises of a vegetable oil production facility, but caused no harm.
"Relevant services are working on site. Law enforcement is documenting traces of further war crimes by the aggressor country," Kiper added.
Attack on Ukraine on December 27
As a reminder, on the night of December 27, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack across Ukraine using various types of weapons, hitting Kyiv and Kyiv region in particular.
Seven districts of Kyiv were affected, with fires and structural damage reported.
In Holosiivskyi district, a drone strike caused a fire that engulfed three cars at a service station. The fire has since been extinguished.
In Obolonskyi district, drone attacks ignited a fire in a three-story private residential building, with flames reaching the roof and second floor.
In Darnytskyi district, several private houses caught fire, with the flames threatening to spread to a nearby senior care facility. Debris also hit a 24-story building in the district, causing a fire on the top floor.
In Dniprovskyi district, a fire broke out on the fourth floor of an 18-story building.
So far, around 20 people have been injured in the capital, including two children.
Additionally, emergency power outages were implemented in Kyiv due to the attack, leaving nearly a third of the city without heating.
