The man was hospitalized and is receiving all necessary medical care, Kalashnyk said.

In the Obukhiv district, a municipal facility belonging to one of the communities was damaged.

“The air raid alert is ongoing. I urge everyone to remain in safe places,” Kalashnyk said.

Russian forces attacked Kyiv overnight on December 27, using various types of missiles and strike drones. Loud explosions were heard across the city.

According to RBC-Ukraine journalists, some districts of the capital experienced power outages.

Later in the morning, Russian forces launched additional strike drones toward the capital from multiple directions, with several waves of loud explosions reported in the city.

Previous massive attack on Ukraine

On the night of December 23, Russian forces carried out a massive combined strike on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, using missiles and hundreds of attack drones. In total, 673 aerial attack assets were recorded.

To repel the air assault, Ukraine’s Defense Forces deployed aircraft, surface-to-air missile units, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and unmanned systems.
