Russian forces on Sunday, June 7, carried out two attacks on a DTEK coal mine in the Dnipropetrovsk region. One worker was injured.

"The enemy twice attacked a DTEK coal enterprise in the Dnipropetrovsk region," the company said.

As a result of a drone strike near the mine, a mechanic was injured. He is receiving necessary medical assistance.

Another strike damaged the enterprise’s life-support systems. Recovery work is underway.

DTEK noted that this is the third attack on the facility in recent days. Previously, during his commute to work, mine employee Yuriy Filippov was killed in a drone strike.

Russia's attacks on Ukraine

As a reminder, in the night of June 7, Russia attacked Ukraine with 236 strike drones. Air defense forces shot down most of them, but some hits were recorded.

In particular, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia, causing a partial blackout in the city.

In the morning, the enemy continued attacking the Zaporizhzhia region with drones and guided bombs. Residential buildings, railway infrastructure, and civilian facilities were hit, with casualties reported.
