Russian troops attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region several times on November 9. A school was destroyed, and a woman was injured, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and Vladyslav Haivanenko, acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

According to the State Emergency Service, Russian forces shelled the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts during the day. An educational facility was destroyed, and a woman born in 1942 was injured.

"Rescuers provided her with first aid, evacuated her from the danger zone, and handed her over to medics. Residential buildings, farm structures, and a gas station were also damaged," the agency said.

Haivanenko said that Nikopol and the Chervonohryhorivka community of the Nikopol district came under artillery fire and FPV drone strikes. The enemy wounded an 83-year-old woman. A farm building was destroyed, and five private homes and a gas station were damaged.

"Russian forces attacked the Pokrovske community in the Synelnykove district with guided air bombs. An educational facility was destroyed. The Air Command reported that an enemy drone was shot down," Haivanenko said.

Earlier on November 9, the number of injured in Dnipro had increased following Russia's massive attack on the night of November 8. The city declared days of mourning. New drone and artillery strikes were recorded across the region, causing further destruction and injuries among civilians.
