Russian strike on Ukraine's Vinnytsia: Casualties rise to 8, aftermath revealed

Eight people were injured in the night by Russian strikes on the Vinnytsia region. Two civilian industrial facilities were hit, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as a result of the Russian strikes:
- Large-scale fires broke out at 2 civilian industrial facilities. As of 8 a.m., the fire at one of the facilities was extinguished, while the other is still undergoing repairs
- Four residential buildings were damaged.
The following were involved in the aftermath response:
- 116 rescuers;
- 30 units of equipment.
- a fire train from the railroad.
Russian strikes on Ukraine on night of July 16
On the night of July 16, Russia carried out another massive attack on the territory of Ukraine. The enemy used an Iskander-M ballistic missile and about 400 Shahed attack drones and simulator drones.
As of 8:30 a.m. Kyiv time, the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed the destruction of 198 Russian drones, and another 145 were lost from radar. Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Odesa, and Vinnytsia regions were hit.
Russian attack caused significant air pollution in Vinnytsia.
