On the morning of June 3, the Russian army struck the center of Sumy. Three casualties and dozens of wounded have been reported, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

Preliminarily, there were 5 hits from long-range MLRS in the regional center around 9 a.m. Kyiv time today. The hits damaged a medical facility, cars, and residential buildings.

The headquarters for liquidating the consequences of the Russian attack has already been deployed on the spot.

According to the prosecutor's office, one of the munitions hit vehicles moving along the roadway in the center of the regional center. Several more hit the outskirts of the city.

The prosecutor's office also reported that 4 children were among the wounded.

At the same time, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine clarified that 3 people were killed and 16 wounded in the Russian strike on Sumy.
