Russian strike on Ternopil - Bodies of two more missing persons found, death toll rises to 38

The death toll from the Russian attack on Ternopil on 19 November has risen to 38, and the bodies of two more people who had been considered missing have been found, according to the press service of the National Police in Ternopil Oblast.
"As of 8 December, 38 people have been killed in the missile strike on Ternopil, including 8 children. Three adults are still considered missing. Investigative actions are ongoing," law enforcement reported.

It was recently reported that the death toll from the Russia’s cynical missile strike on Ternopil on 19 November had risen to 35. The identity of one of the victims was established through DNA analysis.
According to police, the victim was a 73-year-old man who lived on Stus Street.
Among the missing persons there is a child.
Strike on Ternopil on 19 November
At around 7:00 AM on 19 November the occupiers launched missile and drone strikes on residential buildings in Ternopil.
Nine-storey buildings in the city were damaged: a fire broke out in one of them, and the other sustained destruction from the 3rd to the 9th floor. Search and rescue operations at the attack sites continued for four days and ended on 22 November.
Initially, reports stated that 28 people had been killed in the strike, including three children. More than 90 were injured.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the next day that the Russian missile that hit the high-rise building in Ternopil contained 175 foreign components that continue to reach Russia bypassing sanctions.
From 19 to 21 November, the city observed Days of Mourning for the victims.
At the end of November, 12-year-old Adriana Unolt had died in hospital after spending nine days fighting for her life following the missile attack on the city. The girl’s mother was killed in the strike, while her sister remains in hospital.
