Russian strike on Kyiv region kills employee of Polish defense company, reports say

A worker employed by a Polish defense company was killed in a Russian missile strike on Ukraine's Kyiv region, according to Defence24.
Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs later confirmed the information.
According to Defence24, the victim worked for a Polish defense company. The outlet noted that the man was not a Polish citizen.
Ballistic strike on Kyiv region
As previously reported, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike on Ukraine's Kyiv region on July 24. The heaviest destruction was recorded in the Bucha district.
Ten people were killed and around a hundred injured, with varying degrees of severity, following the attack.
Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko said two criminal proceedings have been opened following the Russian strike.
The first is being investigated under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes), while the second falls under Part 3 of Article 367 regarding potential neglect of duty in organizing and conducting the event, which may have led to fatalities and other severe consequences.
Later, Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat clarified that the Russian ballistic missile struck a private sports complex in the Kyiv region, not a Ukrainian military training ground.
