Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with Shahed drones, hitting a gas station. As a result of the impact, fuel spilled and a fire spread, engulfing 14 private residential buildings, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"The area of the fire has reached 3,700 square meters. Fifty residents of Kharkiv, including two children, have been evacuated," noted Terekhov.

According to him, the State Emergency Service workers continue to battle the fire and search for possible casualties. All relevant municipal services are working at the scene.

The prosecutor of the Kharkiv region, Oleksandr Filchakov, noted that due to the strike on Kharkiv, one person sustained 40% burns to the body, and they are currently in the hospital.

Attack of Shahed drones on February 9

Russian forces launched several groups of Shahed attack drones on the night of February 9-10 on the territory of Ukraine from the northern and southern directions.

Explosions were heard in Kharkiv and Odesa, as well as in various populated areas of these regions. It was reported that the enemy targeted Kharkiv and Velykyi Burluk with Shahed drones.

According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, hits were recorded in the Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv, causing damage to civilian infrastructure, while in Velykyi Burluk, the occupiers struck a café.

Additionally, one person was injured in Odesa as a result of the attack, and they were hospitalized with shrapnel injuries.
