Russian strike on industrial facility in Ternopil region: Consequences revealed
Russia attacked an industrial facility in the Ternopil region on the night of October 16. Photos of the aftermath of the fire were released by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“During the night attack, Russia struck one of the industrial facilities in the Ternopil region, and a large-scale fire broke out,” the statement says.
The firefighting operation involved 45 rescuers and 12 units of special equipment of the State Emergency Service and 12 police officers on 4 units of special equipment.
“The fire was quickly localized and eliminated,” the SESU states.

Russian shelling of Ternopil region
During a combined strike against Ukraine on the night of October 16, Russia struck an industrial facility in the Ternopil region. A large-scale fire broke out.
In total, Russian occupiers launched two S-300 and Kh-59 missiles and 136 drones at Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense was able to shoot down 51 drones and missiles, 60 Russian drones were lost, 2 returned, and over 20 are still in Ukrainian airspace.
