On the morning of April 26, Chernihiv came under attack by enemy drones. Due to falling drones, fires broke out in private homes in the city, according to a Telegram post by Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.

As a result of falling enemy drones, fires broke out in private homes.

Throughout April 25, the Russian forces focused their main attack on Dnipro. The attack, which lasted over 20 hours, claimed the lives of civilians and caused extensive destruction in residential areas.

During the day, Russian units launched a second strike, damaging one of the city's industrial enterprises.

While clearing the rubble after the nighttime shelling, an extraordinary incident occurred: a Shahed drone flew straight into the window of an apartment in a multi-story building, but miraculously did not explode immediately. This saved the lives of the residents. The residential building hit during the night suffered the most damage.
