A building was destroyed in the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv as a result of a Russian missile strike. There may be people under the rubble, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"Emergency rescue operations are ongoing, there may be people under the rubble," the report says.

Red Cross aid headquarters has been deployed in the building of one of the schools.

According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, a multi-story non-residential building was damaged in the Pecherskyi district.

"Destruction on the area of approximately 100 square meters. No subsequent combustion," the statement says.

On the morning of March 25, an air alert was declared in Kyiv. At the same time, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that a missile was fired at Kyiv.

After that, explosions were heard in the capital. At the same time, the KCMA reported that air defense systems were operating.

Later it became known that a multi-story building was damaged in the Pecherskyi district of the capital. In addition, debris was recorded falling in the Solomianskyi and Dniprovskyi districts.

Five people have been reported injured, including a teenager.
