Damage recorded in four districts of Kyiv following Russia's overnight combined attack on February 22, according to a statement on Telegram from Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.

According to the mayor, in the Dniprovskyi district a missile fragment fell near an emergency medical substation. There were no fires, damage or injuries reported.

At another address, debris damaged a car in the courtyard of a residential building.

Fragments were also found in an open area, in the yard of one of the buildings, and in a park area opposite a high-rise residential building.

In the Sviatoshynskyi district, the blast wave shattered windows in several residential buildings. No injuries were reported. Windows were also blown out in an office building.

In the Desnianskyi district, missile debris fell in an open area.

In the Podilskyi district, fragments landed in an open area without causing a fire.

Attack on Ukraine on February 22

As a reminder, during the night of February 22 Russia attacked Ukraine with dozens of missiles of various types and 297 strike drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the hostile targets.

The main directions of the strike were the Kyiv, Odesa, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions.

A total of 14 missile and 23 strike drone hits were recorded at 14 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones and debris at five locations.

As a result of the attack, destruction, fires and power outages were recorded in several regions. In the Kyiv region, people were rescued from under rubble, and in Odesa energy infrastructure was damaged.

In particular, in the Odesa region energy facilities once again came under drone attack, and fires broke out at the impact sites.

Kyiv was attacked three times with ballistic missiles, and toward morning cruise missiles targeted the capital simultaneously with drones. The city experienced intense explosions.
